ACCE National Secretary, Prof. Asemah, to Present SAU 3rd Inaugural Lecture

Prof. Ezekiel Shegun Asemah is scheduled to present the 3rd Inaugural Lecture of Samuel Adegboyega University, Ogwa, Edo State. This was contained in a release from the Acting Registrar of the university, Mr. Esan Akinwale Oluyemi.

The inaugural speech, slated for Friday, 24 September, 2021, and titled Corporate Social Responsibility in the Twenty First Century: Refocusing on Sustainable Development through Stakeholders’ Approach, is to hold at the John Babatope Multipurpose Hall of the university. The lecture is under the chairmanship of Prof. Babatunde Idowu, the Vice Chancellor of the university

Asemah, who is currently the Dean of the College of Management and Social Sciences is a Professor of Public Relations and Advertising, holds a BA from University of Jos and MSc from Benue State University, Makurdi. He has his PhD from the University of Uyo, Nigeria.

He is a renowned author with over 50 scientific articles to his credit. Asemah, according to Google Scholar, has an h-index 0f 16 with i10-index of 22. He is the current National Secretary of the African Council for Communication Education (ACCE, Nigerian Chapter). Asemah, formerly the Editor-in Chief of the Novena Journal of Communication, chairs the Editorial Board of SAU Journal of Management and Social Sciences.  

Samuel Adegboyega University, Ogwa, Edo State was founded by The Apostolic Church Nigeria, Lagos, Western and Northern Areas (LAWNA) Territory. The Institution received licence from the National Universities Commission (NUC) on Monday March 7, 2011 as the 45th Private University in Nigeria.
